Partners

The California Community Colleges (CCC) Technology Center is a partnership between the CCC Chancellor's Office and the Butte-Glenn Community College District. The Technology Center's principal directive, sister, and partner organizations include:

CCC logoCalifornia Community Colleges Chancellor's Office
The California Community Colleges system is the largest higher education system in the nation, comprising 72 districts and 112 colleges with more than 2.9 million students enrolled per year. Community colleges supply workforce training and basic skills education, prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions, and offer opportunities for personal enrichment and lifelong learning. The Chancellor's Office provides leadership, advocacy, and support under the direction of  the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges.

CCC Chancellor's Office Technology, Research, and Information Systems Division
The Technology, Research, and Information Systems Division of the CCC Chancellor's Office is responsible for a full range of administrative services relating to research, accountability, and management information systems.

CCC Chancellor's Office Telecommunications and Technology Unit
Within the Technology, Research, and Information Systems Division, the mission of the Telecommunications and Technology Unit is to provide quality leadership by defining systemwide telecommunication and technology policy and standards to California's colleges. The unit provides communications support for the delivery of systemwide data, satellite, video, and voice communications. The unit also provides learning support in the areas of technology training and online learning.

K20 CETC logoK-20 California Educational Technology Collaborative (K20CETC)
The K20CETC consists of K-20 education leaders from across the state including the K-12 community, higher education, and informal education partners such as libraries and community based organizations. The mission of the K20CETC is to support highly effective, innovative, network-enabled teaching and learning opportunities.

CETC logoCalifornia Educational Technology Collaborative (CETC)
The CETC, which includes all of the CCC systemwide technology projects, offers an array of technology services, tools and resources. Most are free to administrators, faculty, and staff of the California Community Colleges.

CVC logoCalifornia Virtual Campus (CVC)
The CVC manages technology pilot projects funded by grants from the CCC Chancellor's Office. The CVC also maintains a current catalog of online courses offered by institutions throughout California. CVC is the sister project of the CCC Technology Center. Both projects are headquartered at Butte College in Oroville, California.

Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California (CENIC)
California's education and research communities leverage their networking resources under CENIC, in order to obtain cost-effective, high-bandwidth networking to support their missions and answer the needs of their faculty, staff, and students.

FCCC logoFoundation for California Community Colleges (FCCC)
As the official foundation for the California Community Colleges Board of Governors and Chancellor's Office, the FCCC develops programs and services that save millions of dollars for colleges and students, promotes excellence in education, and provides valuable learning opportunities for students throughout the state. It also supports the system through special initiatives, statewide awards, and direct donations to the colleges and the Network of California Community College Foundations.
