In this module, you will learn how instructional components, such as curriculum approval and learning outcomes are important to a Distance Education Coordinator.

Introduction:

Instructional components are elements included in the learning experience which assist the design team, academic computing committee and faculty to develop effective curriculum, with measurable outcomes, promoting student success and program completion.

The components are generally the same, no matter what the delivery mode. The tools to create the course materials may change in order to reach the same goals, whether it is in the classroom or an internet based course.
